Wedding Photographs
We aim to have all wedding photographs edited and available for collection from the studio within 14 days of your wedding, however collections are appointment only and although clients are more than welcome to pop in, prints often aren't kept in the studio and will therefore not be available. During busy periods it may take a few days longer. It is the clients responsibility to contact us in relation to arranging print collection. The web gallery will become live once the clients have inspected the images in print (For collection clients or Web preview gallery for postage clients) and are satified with the work produced.
Wedding Albums
If you have selected a wedding album, we ask clients to email or post us the number and code of the images that they would like in the album, albums typically take a minimum of 20 images and a maximum of 50 images on Silver packages and 75 images on Gold packages. This number is the maximum and it may not be possible to include anymore without additional pages been added at the clients expense, generally we reccommend about 35-40 on Silver packages, and 55-60 on Gold packages. Once the client has selected and emailed us the codes of the images to be included in the album we aim to produce a proof album within 2-3 weeks although in quieter times this will be less and in busy times it will be slightly longer. All album requests go in a queue and are created in order they were received. Due to the time it takes to create an album, if lots of requests come in at the same time it will take a little longer although if yours is the only album request that week it will typically be created in under 7 days. We strongly advise not submitting album requests during Holiday periods (Ie Summer Holiday, Easter, Christmas or New year) and this is the busiest time for requests and delays do occur.
Processing time for Wedding albums
Once you are happy with the album proof, We aim for the proofs to be sent for print / print and bind the preceeding Monday (Subject to public Holidays) although due to other factors this sometimes isn't possible immediately, typically return times are 1-2 months for digital albums, and between 1 month and 3 months for storybooks. Storybook production times are something we have no control over and we are at the mercy of the supplier. Graphi studio Italian storybooks usually take 3 - 4 months to arrive once the order has been approved. Processing times can be considerably longer between September and December as this is the time of year when everyone whom got married in the busy summer months orders the albums, alternatively albums ordered in March/April/May may be considerably quicker although times do vary year to year.
Complaints and disputes
Although specifically mentioned in the terms and conditions, Amore Photography is more than happy to offer any client a full refund if they are not happy with the material produced, however by accepting any prints and / or Image disc you are stating you are offically satified and waiver any right to future complaint. Every client is specifically asked if they are satified and wish to accept the material prior to leaving the studio or if your receiving your photographs by post a preview gallery is provided for this purpose. By accepting the material and leaving the studio clients are stating they are satified with the material produced and waiver rights to future complaint.
Web Galleries and Printing
Amore Photography uses quality NIKON equipment, and our photographs are produced on approximately a 2 x 3 inch ration, although these images can and often are cropped and manipulated for album production, Images displayed on the web gallery are all displayed at a 2 to 3 ratio, which prints at 6x4, 6x9, 8x12 etc. Printed images other than these will incur cropping to fit to the specified print size and in certain cases this may compromise the image. Where WE believe the image will be compromised substantially we may contact you to explain the issue, although if any client would like an image preview prior to ordering we are happy to do this, just contact us by clicking here and tell us the size you would like along with the image code, and web gallery name. When people order directly through the webgallery the image will bypass us, and no preview will be produced. If in doubt please talk to us first as we are happy to discuss it. Photography packages and images produced
Before any wedding we always speak with the clients and ask what photographs they would like producing, this is subsequently written down on their booking form and taken with us on the day of the wedding. We can't guarantee every requested photograph will be produced although we will try, as circumstances on the day can affect the production of images and usually with Bronze/Silver packages we have a specified time limit and this may not be enough to take all of your requested photographs and not affect the running order of the day. Your wedding day is very precious and we do try to take a variety of different photographs showing the day as it progresses, these images are typically called Grab shots as they are unplanned and happen on the spur of the moment. We make no guarantees in relation to grab shots for obvious reasons. Further to the above, although we try to take the images that clients wish for unless we are told specifically about a certain shot you would like we have no way of knowing and as such it may not be taken, we cannot be held accountable for any photograph not taken when it hasn't been stated to us. Simply put, if you want a photograph of it then tell us and we will try.
